Bill Martin is Director of MTC Ltd. An independent consultant with thirty years of experience in aerospace and defence technology, management of technology projects, and technology investment analysis. His research and development work includes laser and e-o technology, electronics, systems engineering, medical- and geo- physics. He is a Fellow of the IET, the Royal Astronomical Society and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer. His Polarimetry Research Laboratory at the University of Hertfordshire works on optical signatures for the detection of life on exoplanets.
